Like Jennie AI dance: the white studio vs the MV hangar, shot by shot
The Like Jennie AI dance comes in two set-ups: a vertical white-studio clone squad and a landscape MV hangar. What happens in each shot, how they differ, and which one to pick for your photo.

Every Like Jennie AI dance video you have seen is built on a short reference clip: a lead dancer, a crew in black, a set and a camera that never change. Two set-ups do most of the work. This post breaks both down shot by shot, so you can pick the one that fits your photo and where you will post it.
Version A: the white studio clone squad
White Studio · Clone Squad is the cut people usually mean when they say “like jennie ai dance”. It is vertical (9:16), 10 seconds long with sound, in four shots:
- 0:00, the formation. A still wide shot: the lead at the point of a V of about thirty dancers in black, everyone frozen in a wide stance on a mirror-white floor.
- 0:02, the clones. A medium close-up in a black bomber jacket and navy tee. Either side of the lead stand copies of the same person. A nod to the beat, then a point straight down the lens.
- 0:05, the squad. Wide shot in a seamless white studio: the lead out front, about thirty dancers in black behind, every hit in sync, everyone mirrored in the glossy floor.
- 0:07, the bloom. The camera looks straight down. The crew drops to the floor in a ring like flower petals, and the lead stands in the middle looking up.
When you recast it, the clones become you too, so you get your own squad of look-alikes in the close-up. The clip keeps its sound (see how to post it).
Version B: the MV hangar
MV Hangar · Dance Crew looks like a real music video. It is landscape (16:9), 9 seconds, and keeps its sound:
- 0:00, the kiss. A close-up among the crew: chin on hand, glasses pushed up, a kiss blown to the camera.
- 0:02, the hangar. The camera pulls out to a dark hall with slanted rows of white light panels across the ceiling and a tall silver rocket at the back. The lead, in a fuchsia sweater and cream cargo trousers, leads a crew in black.
- 0:07, the finale. A low angle from the floor as the lead swings into the last pose under the lights.
Which version should you pick?
| Version A · White studio | Version B · MV hangar | |
|---|---|---|
| Shape | 9:16 vertical, made for TikTok, Reels, Shorts | 16:9 landscape, made for YouTube, X, a big screen |
| Length | 10 seconds | 9 seconds |
| Sound | Keeps the reference clip’s sound | Keeps the reference clip’s sound |
| Your face | The close-up, then small in the wide and overhead shots | Big in the opening close-up, then in every wide shot |
| Best photo | Full body or upper body, standing | A sharp face close-up plus some upper body |
| Best for | The meme: you and your clones | The “I’m a K-pop idol now” glow-up |
Both cost the same and use the same photo, so many people make one of each. Pets work in both: see the pet guide.
